CRIME OF WEEK – THEFT

This week the Midland County Sheriff`s Office and Midland Crime Stoppers needs your help on a Theft. 

On May 10th, a business located in the 10000 block of West Hwy 158 reported that unknown suspects had entered the yard of the business and stole a 2003 Asphalt Zipper model #AZ480.  This machine is used in grinding asphalt in construction and is therefore very vital to the company’s day to day operations.  

The value of the theft is over $50,000.   If you are the first person to call with information leading to the arrest of those responsible, it will be worth a $1,000 CASH REWARD. You will remain anonymous and no caller ID is EVER used.

This week the Midland County Sheriff`s Office and Midland Crime Stoppers needs your help stopping oil theft. 
Over the past several months, oil companies in the Permian Basin have reported the loss of hundreds of barrels of oil being taken from oil field locations. These thieves will commonly steal oil by utilizing a tanker truck and pump over 200 barrels of oil into the tanker from a holding tank.
If you know or suspect anyone committing these or other oil field related crimes, you could earn a cash reward of up to $3,500 if your tip results in an arrest and/or conviction against the persons responsible.

Midland Crime Stoppers and the Midland Police Department need your help solving a Burglary.

 

Around midnight on May 18th two suspects entered the victim’s open garage located in the 4800 block of Timber Lane and stole items from the vehicles.  The surveillance camera captured one of the subjects and we need your help identifying him.  The suspect appears to be a Hispanic male in his twenties with short dark hair and a thin build.    

 

If you are the first person to provide information on who this suspect may be and it leads to an arrest, it will be worth a $1,000 cash reward. You will remain anonymous and NO caller I.D. is ever used.

The Midland County Sheriff’s office and Midland Crime Stoppers need your help identifying a person of interest.

 

On May 5, 2017, an investigation was conducted for two separate incidents involving two juvenile females.  The outcry made as for Indecency with a Child by Contact and Indecency with a Child by Exposure.  Investigators were able to develop a person of interest; however before investigators could interview that person he fled to Mexico.  Investigators were able to obtain only a name of Oscar Valles who is approximately 5’5” to 5’7” tall, 190 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.   It is possible that he has family living in the Dallas-Fort Worth or Cleburne, Texas area.  

 

Midland Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 cash reward for identifying the person of interest involved in these incidents.  You will remain anonymous and no caller ID is EVER used.

On May 14th at approximately 3 p.m., a female suspect walked into a business located at 4703 W. Loop 250 N.  The suspect noticed an Apple iPhone 6s on the counter and she took the phone while the employee was occupied.   The suspect is described as a Hispanic female in her twenties last seen wearing a black ball cap, gray shirt and shorts.   The suspect left the business in dark colored Ford 4-door pickup.

The Midland County Sheriff’s office and Midland Crime Stoppers need your help solving a Theft.

 

On April 23rd at approximately 4:00 p.m., the owner of a business located in the 8500 block of North F M 1788 reported a theft.  The suspects entered the yard by cutting a lock to gain entry to where the stolen items were located.  The suspect hooked their vehicle to black 2009 Big-Tex equipment trailer which was loaded with a Caterpillar Skid Steer loader.  The value of both items is over $30,000.

Midland Crime Stoppers and the Midland Police Department need your help in identifying a suspect involved in a Robbery.

On Friday, April 14th at approximately 11:30 a.m., a Hispanic male went to 4009 North Midland Dr to attempt to steal some merchandise.   A store employee confronted the suspect and the suspect assaulted the employee and fled the scene in a dark colored van.

On March 18, 2017, sometime between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and midnight, a white 2006 5-wheel Sandpiper travel trailer was stolen from the 1700 block of East County Road 137.   The trailer was located behind a business at that location and was hooked up to water and electricity.   The trailer was displaying a Texas license plate 5BG-633 at the time of the theft.   The trailer is valued at over $15,000.

Midland Crime Stoppers and the Midland Police Department need your help in identifying a suspect involved in a Felony Theft.

On February 14th, a black older model GMC 4-door pickup entered a construction site located at 12230 Highway 191.  The suspect stole over $40,000 worth of welding equipment and construction components.  We need your help identifying this suspect.  The Police Department believes the suspect has also been involved in several other thefts in the Permian Basin.

The Midland County Sheriff’s office and Midland Crime Stoppers need your help solving a Theft.

 

Sometime between January 12th and March 2nd, a Sullair model 375 air compressor was stolen from an oil lease location off of F M 1379.  The air compressor is green in color and is affixed to a single axle black trailer.  The last four serial numbers on the compressor are 0044.  The value of the compressor is approximately $30,000.

 

If you are the first person to call with information leading to an arrest of the suspect or suspects involved in this theft, it will be worth a $1,000 CASH REWARD.
